Pickleball Anyone

This is out of sequence but wanted to add it anyway. After leaving the Hemet area we spent a week in Desert Hot Springs at Catalina Spa, one of our RPI parks. Pickleball is a game that is played on about half a tennis court with a paddle and wiffleball. It's alot better played with doubles, way less running around. We got instructions at 10:00 every morning. Judy and Dave were newbies too so we played everyday for a few hours.

Boondocking

What could be more spectacular! We are parked in the desert on the border of AZ and CA outside of Yuma.

More good friends

We spent a great afternoon with our friends Chris and Ken. They used to live in San Clemente before becoming fulltimers. They took us around showing us all the sights. What a beautiful area.

Southern Ca

Sure didn't get very far. About one mile down the road after leaving our RV park we broke a spring on the fifth wheel. Strangest thing we had another spring break the day before.
During the time we waited for the mobile service are safety blinkers where about 3 hours just then ran our battery down. A very helpful friendly neighbor down the road had come by to offer help. He got us jump started then offered his cement driveway to park on while the service man worked on it who really appreciated not having to roll around in the stickers and dirt. The work didn't get finished until dark so we were offered to stay right there for the night. There are so many nice people willing to help.
We finally got to our good friends Bibi and Pauls. It sure is nice when someone is making you a home cooked meal. We enjoyed the beach area for 4 days. And thanks again for the great food!

Moving On

Well we have seen some toads, But this is a first. Fuel milage would be oh so good though!
