Mothers Day Weekend

We want to thank our kids for driving 4 hours after work on a Friday night to visit with us for their Dad's Birthday and Mothers Day. We had the best time!

We had a great time going into Seattle for dinner. The weather was cooperating also, turned out so warm we were able to walk about town then drove over to Greenlake Park at 8:00pm to let the kids play.

We spent the Sat. night at Jim's daughters (Jill) house. Had a great time this weekend seeing how much smarter all our grandkids have gotten in our absence!

And this is the weather we got on our drive north to Wa. What were we thinking!

Grants Pass OR, The Millers

This is Carol and Jerry Miller. They have a beautiful three bedroom home in Grants Pass OR. We came to visit them on our trip home to Wa. state. They live just a few blocks from the river which has a very nice park and makes for a good walk.

Here we are on our walk to the river. As you can see we are not exactly in shorts. Whats wrong with this weather. It is COLD!

Here in Grants Pass there is a Wildlife Refuge for animals that can't fend for themselves. They were either injured or raised in captivity and do not have the skills to survive.

This is a wolf. The other a black bear. They have Grizzleys but they were not moving around, they knew it was cold. Actually when we drove over here which is 6 miles from the Millers house it started snowing.
