Yuma

This is actually the second large Happy Hour we've attended. We have also gotten together with friends for Pegs and Jokers, met the gang for lunch (2 for $10.00)at the new Casino, did the Wed. movie $4.00 with free popcorn. Shopped the Market place, hit lots of garage sales oh and Jim plays Pickleball M-F every morning. I stay home and enjoy the sunshine on the patio. It has been blissfully sunny usually in the 70's. I have no photos as I keep forgetting my camera. We have Ken Marler to thank for this one. Thank you Ken!

Lunch at Giusti's on the Sac. Delta

Off for a day on the Sacramento Delta. This is one of the free ferry's.

Lunch was so good at Giusti's. There are about 6 choices for the day $11.50 includes soup, bread and wine. The soup and side are served family style. Try it! You won't be disappointed. And it's always twice as good with friends like Carol and Ron.

THANKSGIVING

THANKSGIVING IN THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA MOUNTAINS.!!WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE AND BE ABLE TO SPEND THE HOLIDAY WITH VERY DEAR FRIENDS. THEY HAVE A COZY CABIN IN BIG BEAR CA WHERE WE WERE INVITED TO SPEND THE 4 DAY WEEKEND. WHAT A SUPRISE THOUGH, THE WEATHER STARTED OUT WARM THEN BY FRIDAY TURNED INTO A WINTER WONDERLAND! JUST BEAUTIFUL, LASTED LONG ENOUGH TO ENJOY AND CLEARED IN TIME TO DRIVE DOWN THE MOUNTAIN. WE HAD SO MUCH FOOD WE COULD HAVE LASTED A MONTH. THANK THANK YOU BIBI AND PAUL FOR SUCH A GREAT TIME.

Lance Camper

We have been talking about downsizing for a few years. So we finally did it. We just bought our Lance Camper in Sac. a few weeks ago. We will now put our fifth wheel on our Az. lot. And enjoy this between there and Wa. state where we have a small home. We have already enjoyed several places where we now fi! We are excited about having the ease of a smaller RV.

Our good friends Ken and Chris are currently living in an apt. in Oceanside. They had been fulltime RV'ers for 11 years and have decided to make a change. We met them in 2002 our first year of retirement. This is what has been so rewarding in RVing, making friends in various places around the country and meeting up again.

Hemet, CA

We're having a great time here in Hemet, Ca visiting our grandkids. The weather has cooperated which in very good indeed since we are in a small camper now. Top picture me with my Great grandson Rayne, he is 7 months old and a real cutie, a very happy baby.

Good friends

Visiting with good friends, Carol and Ron. Yes and again we all seem to enjoy visiting over food. We stopped in a cute little town north of Sac. called Winters. The cafe is Steady Eddie's.

Mendocino Ca

Mendocino is a picturest little town on the northern coast of Ca. A haven for artistic people. And liberal views.

Eureka Ca

We had heard about the Somoa Cookhouse for several years. So this time we made a point of stopping for lunch. This cookhouse was used for the mill workers and they still serve meals family style...all you can eat!














It's a museum within the restaurant. Great pictures and tools line the walls.

Winchester Bay

Sept 24-Oct 4th. Great times again at Winchester Bay on the coast of Oregon. The Roving Rods sure put on a good rally. The Boomers were certainly well represented, I think there were nine(three at next table).
A few of us gals getting ready to pick crab. The crabs are donated for all,
cooked and picked by volunteers then kept in coolers until distributed for the pot luck cooking.
