We stayed at the Monterey Elks which is near town. It's a good walk but we enjoy walking. We were lucky enough to be there on their Farmers Market evening. What a nice surprise. For all of you who enjoy these affairs, Monterey has a very good one. Lots of good produce which is what we like even more than the craft or clothes items.
Look at these berries. The down side of walking, we could only carry so much.
The next day we took a drive down to Big Sur. Beautiful drive, and I'm very glad we didn't drive Hwy 1 with the rig!
We stopped in Carmel on the way back. Stopping at the Mission then into town to enjoy the art galleries.
